About Valhalla K9 Services

Balanced training in Plymouth

Valhalla K9 Services is a women-owned, one-woman dog training operation in Plymouth, working with dogs and their owners across the Lakes Region. Trainer Kristina teaches balanced training built on "clear communication, fair boundaries, and a whole lot of heart", combining rewards and structure tailored to each dog. Training is proofed in the real world: downtown sidewalks, trailheads, coffee shops and swimming holes. Kristina also fosters rescue dogs between clients.

Programs

Puppy Foundations (8 weeks and up) covers socialization, name response, crate and potty routines and first manners, with field trips through downtown Plymouth. Basic Obedience teaches sit, down, stay, come and loose-leash walking. Behavior Modification handles reactivity, anxiety, rude greetings and big feelings. Off-Leash Reliability builds conditioned recall for trail freedom, CGC Prep coaches toward the AKC Canine Good Citizen title, and Pack Walks and Hikes run around the downtown loop and Smarts Brook trails.

Grooming

Kristina is winding grooming down to focus on training; grooming is fully booked for 2026, with the service tentatively wrapping up by January 2027.

What owners say

One summarized review describes "a reactive dog rehabilitated all the way to off-leash reliability".
