About Woodlawn Woofers

Woodlawn Woofers is a flyball club rather than a dog-training business: a real, open, in-person place to work a dog in this metro – at a fraction of what the training programs nearby cost.

What it is

In its own words: "We are a Flyball Club located in Woodlawn, TN just outside of Clarksville, TN and Ft. Campbell, KY. No breed or size restrictions!" Flyball is a four-dog relay over hurdles to a box that releases a tennis ball, raced lane against lane, and the club's own explanation stresses that "Any dog is eligible to play flyball, no pedigree papers required for this game."

Cost and how to start

"6-week beginner's class offered at $80.00. Class can start at anytime. Afterwards, monthly membership $15.00 per month." There is no intake window to wait for. "First class FREE to check us out" – the club invites you to try a session before committing to anything.

Where and when

"Practice every Sunday, 12:00 pm at 2925 Jim Taylor Rd. in Woodlawn, TN." The club asks that you message first in case it is away at an event, which it often is.

The record

The club competes seriously. Its published results include "2025 Region 14 Regular Regional Champs", a 2025 Division IV UFLI Tournament of Champions title, NAFA CanAm finals placings in 2025, 2024 and 2022, and a third place at the 2019 UFLI Tournament of Champions.
