About My BodyGuard German Shepherds

Training and a German Shepherd breeding program

My BodyGuard Dogs in Marengo runs two connected sides: a training school and a German Shepherd breeding program. The heading on its about page reads "Over 30 Years of Breeding and Training Excellence," and the site says the breeding program "adheres to the Verein fur Deutsche Schaferhunde (SV) e.V. standards, the same benchmarks utilized in Germany's premier breeding programs."

Training programs

Six training lines are published. Board & Train is offered as five customizable stays building an obedience and confidence foundation. Group classes run from beginner obedience through advanced skills, AKC titles and off-site urban workshops. Day training is a drop-off option where the dog works one-on-one with a professional. Private training is tailored to the dog's temperament and the family's goals. Personal protection is described as PSA – Protection Sports Association – training blending obedience with controlled protection scenarios. Dock diving is offered from complete beginner through sharpening skills for competition. Canine Good Citizen and Urban CGC, plus off-leash work with the e-collar, are also named.

Breeding and dogs for sale
