About Dog Magic LLC

Behavior consulting and sport coaching for McHenry County

Dog Magic LLC states its mission as providing "top notch training, behavior, care, and canine education services to McHenry County, IL and beyond," with "positive and practical training solutions that work for you and fit into your busy life." The stated vision is to free owners "from the frustration and anxiety that can come when your dog has you feeling out of your depth."

Four training tracks

Puppy training covers puppy biting, potty training and socialization. Life Skills and Obedience targets everyday manners – walking nicely on leash, settling calmly when people are seated, greeting without jumping, passing people and dogs on the street without pulling, ignoring food and trash on the ground, and focusing in public spaces. The Reactivity and Behavior Modification track covers barking and lunging at dogs, people, bikes and cars on leash, stranger danger and fear of guests in the home, and resource guarding. Dog Sport Coaching runs across agility, Rally-O, AKC obedience, tricks, sport foundations and trial preparation.

Who runs it

The about page names Dresden Graff CBCC-KA as a dog trainer and certified behavior consultant. It says he first got involved through the sport of dog agility with his first Papillon in 2006, started a formal apprenticeship in early 2012, went on to be Director of Training at multiple facilities, and opened Dog Magic LLC in 2026. Dog walking and sitting are also offered. Canine massage and online classes are both marked "coming soon" on the site and so are not bookable yet.
