About The Steadfast Canine

Training and boarding under one roof

The Steadfast Canine offers "custom tailored training for you and your dog" and says "dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds are welcome to be a part of The Steadfast Family." Four services are published: private training, board and train, boarding, and daycare or drop-ins. Board and train is offered in on-leash, off-leash and hybrid forms for owners who want "a more intensive and comprehensive training experience." Boarding is pitched against the kennel model – the site's line is "NO COLD KENNELS HERE!" – with playtime and plenty of outside time, and extended stay discounts available on request.

Where it begins

Every client starts with a consultation held in the dog's own home, which the site says gives the trainer the chance to learn the owner's goals and lifestyle before recommending a program.

Background as published

The about section is written in the first person, and client testimonials on the same page refer to the trainer as Eric. It states "over 10 years of experience in dog training," credits a dog named Ghost with sparking the interest in behavior, names Kirk Halma at K9 Motivation as a pivotal early teacher, and says the writer graduated from The Michael Ellis School for Dog Trainers in 2021 and has since worked across obedience, sport and working disciplines. Because the site itself leaves the owner unnamed, the owner field here is left empty.
