About Circus Dog Training

Circus Dog Training is an in-home dog training business serving Knoxville. It carries a 4.6-star Google rating from 20 reviews.

How the training runs

Everything starts with a 60-90 minute in-home behavioral evaluation, which their site prices at $50 and credits toward a training package. The evaluation is described as covering the root causes of problem behaviors, an assessment of obedience, anxiety and reactivity, and a customized training roadmap agreed with the household.

What they publish

Three packages are published with prices, which is unusual for this market. Ring Leader is 4 sessions at $1,050 total ($450 deposit) and is described as foundational in-home work for leash pulling, obedience, anxiety management and mild to moderate reactivity, explicitly excluding socialization and away sessions. Lion Tamer is 8 sessions at $1,950 ($650 deposit), adding real-world practice at local stores, parks and events, moderate to severe reactivity, management of severe anxiety and an optional introduction to off-leash skills. The Full Show is 12 sessions at $2,650 ($850 deposit) for serious behavior modification, preparation for therapy work, service dog tasks or adventure-focused lifestyles, and optional full off-leash reliability.

Who it suits

Households that want a staged, priced plan rather than an open-ended engagement, and whose dog's issue is leash work, anxiety or reactivity. The site's own tagline is "Real-Life Training, Real World Results."
