About Rioghal Canine Knoxville

Rioghal Canine is a dog training service based in Knoxville. It carries a 5-star Google rating from 7 reviews.

What they publish

Three named programs – Board and Train, Private Lessons and Behavior Modification – alongside advanced obedience, protection dog training and sport training. Behavior modification is described in terms of the cases they take: a dog that cannot be walked past other dogs, or one showing aggression toward family or friends, evaluated first and then given a working plan.

What the board and train includes

This is the most concretely specified program on their site. The Premier Program is 4 weeks of boarding and training, and includes a training collar and a remote collar for off-leash reliability. Every program also includes 3 lessons, some during training and some after the dog goes home, and the site says you choose when and where to use them. Pickup and drop-off are offered to the greater Knoxville area, weekly progress updates are provided, and the trainers live on site with someone on the property 24/7. Visits to the facility are invited.

How the training runs

Their stated approach is "balanced training, positive reinforcement, and clear communication", applied across all breeds – the site names everything "from Labradoodles to German Shepherds". For prices, the site routes to a Connect With A Trainer form.
