About Wynne K-9

Wynne K-9 is a working-dog operation in Memphis, not a pet training school, and it says so in its own strapline: "Serious Dogs For A Serious World".

What the business actually does

Three published lines. Executive Protection Dogs, which they describe as hand-picked and "customized to your family and home setting". Police and military dogs for sale – "Producing some of the strongest, most well tested dogs in the world!" And K-9 teams for hire, specifically odor detection man-and-dog teams. Their stated mission is "to preserve 'the true working dog' by producing dogs with the highest drives and most solid nerves".

Experience as claimed

The site states "More than 25 years of experience in training, handling, and breeding high drive dogs in areas ranging from odor detection, patrol, personal protection, and obedience". That is the business's own figure. It also describes a dual-purpose explosive detection and patrol Belgian Malinois bred and trained by Wynne K-9, and narcotics detection work demonstrated in a school setting, carried out with an associated kennel.

Who this is for

If you are looking for help with a pet dog that pulls on the lead or barks at visitors, this is not the business for that – there is no pet obedience program, class schedule or behavior service published. It is aimed at buyers of finished working dogs and at organizations hiring detection teams.
