About Bluff City K9

Bluff City K9 trains out of Germantown and leads with a line that sets its expectation of the owner: "The key to a well-mannered dog… IS YOU!"

Programs

The home page describes the offer in general terms: "From hourly in-person sessions to our more intensive board & train programs, we will develop a customized solution to achieve your goals," with the business stating there is no "one size fits all" solution. Ask the business directly for named programs, durations and current prices.

The five commitments

The business publishes five promises, which together are the clearest statement of its method. First, "No-Fear Training. We use low-level stimulus/pressure while training so your dog doesn't encounter fear or shut down." Second, a dog returned "happy & well-balanced". Third, a custom plan – "We train your dog and you!" Fourth, that a boarded dog is "treated like a family dog: lots of love, food, meds, and they never sleep on concrete". Fifth, "No surprise pricing. What you will spend is clearly discussed beforehand, without any hidden fees."

Who trains

The site introduces "our Certified Master Trainer, Jeremy", quoting him: "My greatest joy is helping people and dogs work together to create a happy life." The certification is the business's own description, so ask which body issued it. Contact runs through jeremy@bluffcityk9.com and (901) 614-2031.

One thing to check

Its address is in Germantown while the site's own header says Memphis – either way it is the same metro, but ask where the training actually happens when you book.
