About 360 Animal Training and Behaviour

What it is

360 Animal Training and Behaviour is a Henrico-based practice that works with both dogs and cats – unusual in a directory where nearly everything is dog-only. The site addresses itself to greater Richmond dog and cat guardians.

Method

The stated approach is kind, ethical and science-backed, described as humane, evidence-led and respectful of both the animal's wellbeing and the owner's pace. The practice promises that the owner will always understand the reasoning behind what is being done, and that nothing feels rushed or confusing.

What working together looks like

The site organizes its promise into three parts: kind, ethical guidance rooted in science; support that brings relief and direction; and building connection and capacity. The second is about making sense of what is going on and breaking it into small, actionable steps so progress feels clear and steady, with the owner eventually able to problem-solve new situations themselves. The third is about strengthening trust and communication alongside practical skills, which the site describes as a foundation usable with every animal in the client's life.

Philosophy

The practice starts by asking questions rather than giving commands, on the reasoning that every dog, cat and human learns differently and that understanding why an animal does something comes first. All comers are welcomed, from what the site calls wallflowers to whirlwinds.

Practical details

Separate dog training and cat training tracks are published, along with videos, a blog, an FAQ and testimonials. The entry point is a free discovery call, and the site carries a detailed accessibility menu.
