About Bark Busters of Columbus & Auburn

About

This is the Columbus and Auburn territory of the Bark Busters home dog training network, and its own branch page names one local trainer, Theresa Nichols, described there as "your local Dog Trainer and Dog Behavioral Therapist". Everything happens at the client's house rather than at a facility.

Training

The page lists in-home training for any breed, any age and any behavioral issue, with puppy training handled the same way. The behavior list it publishes includes aggression, adjusting to a new home, barking, biting and chewing. A Gold Service is described as putting the local trainer "a single call away" for the life of the dog at no extra cost.

Method

The branch page is direct about the technique: "we only need our hands for pats" and voices for communication, with the trainer teaching the owner to use tone and body language as the dog's motivation. It is pitched as a way to build a trust bond rather than to enforce compliance.

Where they work

The published service area spans the state line. On the Georgia side it names Columbus, Fort Benning, Fortson, Hamilton, Midland, Cataula, Ellerslie, Cusseta and Pine Mountain among others, and on the Alabama side Auburn, Opelika and Phenix City.
