About The Canine Country Club

What they offer

The Canine Country Club is a Wichita-area dog training and pet care business run by trainer Adam Miklos. Its home page offers Basic Obedience and Advanced Obedience, each as a five-session package of one-hour sessions held in the client's home, neighborhood or a nearby park, and anyone who wants to handle the dog is welcome to take part.

What is covered

The obedience program introduces and develops ten cues: sit, stay, down, come here, heel, leave it, drop it, wait, go and off. The site presents these as the foundation for correcting unwanted behavior.

Other services

It also offers Power Hour exercise outings with pickup and drop-off, and a Clean-Dog pampering package.

About the trainer

The trainer says he has led group and private obedience and agility classes at Petco and Zoom Room in Los Angeles, where he learned positive reinforcement training, and describes teaching and guiding dogs rather than forcing them. Text or call to schedule.
