About Woofter’s Top Dog LLC

What they offer

Woofter's Top Dog is a board-and-train company at 10200 East 119th St S in Mulvane, serving the Wichita area. The home page says it specializes in basic obedience, manners and social skills, and describes its obedience training as focused on basic manners, socialization and correcting anxiety or aggression based behaviors.

Programs

The training page lists board-and-train packages built around basic commands (sit, down and come when called), leash manners, threshold manners at doors, crates and cars, and social manners around new people and animals without lunging, jumping or barking. The four-week board and train adds off-leash freedom. The page also names common problems the training works on, including poor socialization and poor leash manners.

Method

The business describes a balanced method of positive, negative and correction-based reinforcement, and calls its training firm but kind.

About the trainer

The about page says JD Woofter and his wife built a fully equipped training facility for the company, and stresses that consistency is key: trained dogs still need their commands practiced, even for three minutes a day.
