About All Ears Dog & Puppy Training
What they offer
All Ears Dog and Puppy Training is run by Kriss, known to clients as Miss Kriss, a Castle Rock dog and puppy trainer. Her site says she has trained dogs since 1997, 26 years of that in Colorado and 22 in Castle Rock.
The four-week program
The main offer is a one-on-one obedience program built around four weeks of lessons for dogs from eight-week-old puppies to seniors. The curriculum lists potty and crate training, socialization and greetings, door and meal manners, off-leash heel and recall, stay with duration, distance and distractions, place, and car manners. It also covers problems such as nipping, destructive chewing, jumping, barking, fence fighting, resource guarding, door dashing and separation anxiety. Lessons average about an hour, and the site says a lesson does not end until the dog completes each command.
Training style
Kriss describes her style as balanced training: positive reinforcement through praise combined with clear communication, with confidence and a stronger bond between dog and owner as the priorities. The contact page says she is available every day of the week to answer questions.
