I've had Gus since he was 6 weeks old & saw Abe working with a family when Gus was about 6 months old. The first thing I noticed was Abe's ability to quickly connect with any dog. During our first discussion, Abe got a thorough understanding of what I wanted in a "trained" dog. I love acquiring new information on the "why" does this work. Abe explains the psychology and theory behind his training system and did an amazing job teaching me how to train Gus and using the sessions to demonstrate, then evaluate when Gus was ready to move on. This training laid the foundation of good obedience, however I didn't continue some of Abe's suggestions and ultimately didn't get to the off leash skills I originally desired. Fast forward 3 years. I decided to send Gus for a board and train because Abe could devote more time to Gus and then I could maintain it. I thought 4 weeks was too long to be away from my "velcro dog," but knew it was the advanced training he needed to Kickstart sharp obedience, respect and off leash handling. Gus came home last week to see if he was able to transfer his skills from Abe as the handler to me. I am blown away at the level of restraint, duration and enthusiasm Gus now exhibits. We've been able to go to several stores, parks and even take walks while Gus just ignores everyone, including cute lil squirrels and acts as if I'm his world. He puts all his attention into doing what I ask enthusiastically with a little smile. Abe scheduled a few in home visits after the board and train to ensure our success. Gus and I are looking forward to many happy, healthy years together thanks to Abes training of both myself and Gus. Today, we exercised in a park with Gus on a 10 foot leash that just laid on the ground while we played tug with some obedience mixed in. He was excited to heal and walked proudly beside me. He even likes going with me to teach my Reiki classes too. Thank you Abe!

Halle and I are so thankful for Abe and all the training he has provided us with these past few months. I went from Halle pulling me down the stairs to loose leash walking in just a few weeks. Halle also knows sit, down, place, car manners and so much more thanks to Abe. He also has unlimited weekly group classes that you can attend with the package you purchase. These group classes are super helpful when it comes to socializing your dog with other dogs. My friends and family are so impressed with how much progress Halle has made over the past few months. Thanks Abe for all of your help and if you are in need of a trainer I would highly recommend using Abe. He poor his heart and sole into training and is super responsive if you need any help in between sessions.

It’s amazing to see how instantaneously Abe connects and teaches not only our pup but us as well. Our pup (Cash) finished his last in-home lesson today! As first time puppy owners we weren’t sure where to begin. But Abe did an amazing job teaching us! Super affordable and definitely worth it!

We enrolled our Lucy in Chateau Canine's day training program, and it has been incredible! Abe is wonderful with her, and she absolutely adores him. He took the time to really get to know Lucy and quickly realized she isn’t food motivated—she’d much rather play. Abe incorporated that into her training, and the results are amazing!

Walking her is no longer a struggle, her interactions with visitors have improved, and—most importantly—she actually listens to us now. It feels like a miracle! We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Chateau Canine’s day training program.
