LunaRita Outfitters is a Patagonia hunting outfitter that also trains hunting and sporting dogs and family pets, with its training season running from March through August. Its four main programs are day training, board and train, a wild bird exposure program and DIY training preserve memberships. Board and train dogs stay on the property and train several days a week on field and bird work as well as obedience and conditioning; the facility has a fenced kennel area and an on-site 20-acre field set up for gun dog training, and it takes only a small number of dogs per monthly session. Private obedience and handler training can be scheduled at your home.

How they train

The site says it uses operant and classical conditioning for obedience and field work and designs the plan around what the owner wants from the dog; obedience can use clicker reward training, slip or pinch collar reinforcement or an e-collar, depending on the owner's preference. Gun dog training starts with an evaluation.
