Bakers Acres K9 Academy is a family dog training business in Springville that brings training into clients' homes across Utah County, including Spanish Fork, Mapleton, Provo and Orem. Sara Baker is president and head trainer. She grew up training dogs and horses, competed in dog agility from the late 1990s, and specializes in teaching whole families to train the family dog together.

How it works

Training starts with a free phone or video consultation, then an in-home introductory lesson and behavior evaluation. Lessons cover obedience, potty training, crate manners, separation-related problems, loose-leash walking, reactivity and household nuisances such as barking and counter surfing. Clients get online classroom access, the training equipment their plan needs, text support between lessons and a lifetime training guarantee. Group classes, free pack walks and a premium board and train for select dogs round out the programs.

Pricing

The Training For Life packages are Gold at $2,100 (eight lessons including three follow-ups at 3, 6 and 12 months), Silver at $1,500 (five lessons) and Bronze at $860 (three lessons).
