About MLK9 New Mexico

What they offer

MLK9 New Mexico is a dog training company serving Albuquerque and surrounding areas. Its trainer is a native New Mexican and a sheriff's office K9 handler who has worked dual-purpose police dogs since 2019.

Services

Programs include board and train, where the dog stays with the trainers for immersive training, private lessons that also teach owners how to keep the training going, in-home training, puppy training for dogs under six months, and behavior modification for aggression, reactivity, fear and anxiety. On-leash and off-leash obedience training aims for reliable commands in any environment.

Approach

The company describes a balanced, results-driven approach with owner education, and works on problems such as leash pulling, poor recall, jumping, door bolting, potty accidents and biting.
