In-store training on Brooks Ave

Petco Dog Training in Missoula holds classes at the store at 3662 Brooks Ave. Group classes run six weeks with hour-long sessions alongside up to four other dogs, and private classes are 45-minute one-on-one sessions with a certified trainer.

Group classes

Each group class is $149. Puppy (8 to 16 weeks) covers potty training, socialization and foundational cues like sit, down and come. Beginner (16 weeks to 6 months) adds loose-leash walking, leave it, wait, tricks and games. Fundamentals (6+ months) covers core cues, loose-leash walking and curbing jumping and barking. Advanced (6+ months) works on heel, recall with distractions and polite greetings.

Private lessons

A $39 Private Lesson 101 for new customers covers goals and recommendations. Private packages are $249 for 4 sessions or $329 for 6 sessions, each with a customized training plan and flexible scheduling.
