About Happy Pack Dog Care, LLC

Dog care and training around Woodbridge

Happy Pack Dog Care is a Northern Virginia dog care business serving Woodbridge, Lake Ridge, Occoquan, McLean and Arlington. Alongside dog walking, day care and in-home boarding, it runs an obedience and socialization training program.

The training program

The training page says the program works with all dogs, from puppies to adults, on issues such as potty training, crate training, heavy pulling, reactivity and socialization. Beyond commands like sit, down, stay, place and come, it aims to help owners develop a calm, confident leadership style. Each dog gets a customized plan built on routine, consistency and motivators suited to the dog.

Method

The site describes training through positive reinforcement, balanced techniques and patience, working with both dogs and owners and aiming at the root causes of unwanted behavior.

Getting started

A meet and greet is required before booking any service, and the site offers it free for new clients.

What to ask

Ask how many sessions a typical plan includes, whether training happens at your home, and how reactivity cases are handled.
