In-home training around Woodbridge

G&S Dog Training is a husband-and-wife, veteran- and Latino-owned training company based in Northern Virginia that serves Woodbridge, Dumfries, Dale City and the surrounding areas. The trainers offer programs in English or Spanish and work with all breeds, ages and temperaments, including aggressive, fearful and disabled dogs.

How training works

Programs are private and one-on-one, with all training equipment included, weekly written homework and training videos. Besides formal commands, the trainers say they specialize in unwanted behaviors such as reactivity, jumping and excessive barking. Graduates get free year-round access to group classes, pack walks and hikes.

Services

The services page lists on- and off-leash obedience, outdoor training for farm and livestock guardian dogs, agility work for balance and confidence, air and ground scent work, physical assistance and psychiatric service dog training, and retrieval training. Boarding is offered only to dogs in or through their programs.
