About Off Leash K9 Training, Richmond

Off-leash obedience for the Richmond area

Off Leash K9 Training of Richmond works out of 10097 Patterson Park Rd in Ashland and lists the communities it covers across the metro, including Mechanicsville, Glen Allen, Short Pump, Lakeside, Tuckahoe, Highland Springs, Sandston, Chesterfield and Midlothian. The focus is obedience with off-leash control, built through private lessons and behavior consultations that teach owners why their dogs act the way they do.

In-home training is offered for owners who would rather work at home, and the services menu also lists aggressive dog training, dog obedience training and puppy training.

Puppies

A Puppy Consultation covers obedience basics, housebreaking, crate training and socialization for dogs under 5 months. There is also a self-paced online puppy course with 24 video modules and 8 worksheets.

What to ask

Ask which program fits your dog's age and issues, what the board and train includes once your dog comes home, and whether in-home sessions reach your neighborhood. Phone consultations are free.
