Dog Training Elite West Houston Facility is the Katy location of the Dog Training Elite franchise, based at 180 Applewhite Dr with facility drop-off and pickup from 8am to 6pm. It offers both in-home and in-facility training. Alex Price is the owner and lead trainer; he grew up on a cattle farm and says training service dogs is what he enjoys most. Trainer Alexandria Stanley holds a Master's degree in Animal Health and Behavior.

Programs

The Katy team offers obedience, puppy training, service dog training (mobility assistance, autism support, PTSD service and more), therapy dog training, anxiety and aggression work, and group classes. Training typically starts with in-home sessions that involve the whole family, then moves into group classes. The team describes its methods as balanced while incorporating positive reinforcement.

Packages

In-home Silver, Gold and Platinum packages range from 3 to 8+ one-on-one sessions, with up to a year of group classes on Platinum. The Elite Training Camp is day-camp-style training at the facility (5 or 10 days), with daily trainer reviews, a follow-up session at home and an e-collar included. Pricing is by phone, and a free assessment is offered.
