At 513 S Mason Rd in Katy, Petco store 464 (Mason Park) teaches dog training in store. Training hours are 9am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and 9am to 7pm on Sunday.
Classes on offer
Group courses meet for six hour-long weeks with up to five dogs. The store groups them by age:
– Puppy (8-16 weeks): potty training, socialization, sit, down and come
– Beginner (16 weeks-6 months): loose-leash walking, leave it, wait and games
– Fundamentals (6+ months): core cues plus help with jumping and barking
– Advanced (6+ months): heel, recall with distractions and polite greetings
One-on-one work comes as 45-minute private sessions, with an introductory lesson for new customers and 4- or 6-session plans.
