About Urban Paws

Pet retreat in Downtown Dallas

Urban Paws calls itself the finest pet retreat in Downtown Dallas. At 2526 Elm St, it offers dog boarding, daycare, full-service and self-service bathing, training and retail across more than 10,000 square feet of oversized townhomes and indoor and outdoor parks.

Training and care

Urban Paws holds training classes of all levels in the evenings and on weekends, with the view that training enriches the bond between dogs and their owners. Boarding dogs stay in custom-built townhomes with raised beds and windows overlooking downtown, and siblings can share. Daycare dogs rotate between indoor and outdoor parks with nap time built into the day. The bathing spa uses all-natural shampoos and conditioners, and the Paws Shop stocks pet products.

What owners say

One client wrote that her older rescue terrier mix had fears and socialization issues, and that "after 2 years of slowly warming him up, he now runs and plays ball with other dogs."
