JustJoy Dog Training is a Dallas in-home dog training business owned by Emilie Williams-Ingram, CPDT-KA. Emilie has over 15 years of experience, graduated from Starmark Academy in 2005 and is certified through the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. She is especially drawn to dogs that struggle with fear and anxiety. Her relationship-based training uses positive reinforcement, rewarding behavior with what the dog loves, such as toys, treats, praise and affection, to build mutual trust, respect and understanding.

Why in-home

All training takes place in the client's home, so problem behaviors are worked on where they happen, in a setting that suits fearful or reactive dogs, without a drive across town.

Services

Puppy training covers basic cues, correcting unwanted puppy behavior, enrichment, socialization, crate training and nap schedules. Basic obedience programs are tailored to each family's goals. Behavior consulting starts with a consultation and uses positive reinforcement to change how a dog feels about its triggers. Owner Absent Day Training suits busy owners, and specialized services include doggy swim lessons, training at dog-friendly places and preparing a dog for a new baby.
