About loyal sidekick dog training

Private training in East Amherst

Loyal Sidekick Dog Training LLC is run by Christopher Pitarresi, who lists a certification from the CATCH Canine Trainers Academy and volunteer experience with a wide range of breeds at a county SPCA. The business address is 55 Foxhunt Ln in East Amherst, and the site says sessions take place in local parks and in clients' homes.

Services

The site lists private adult dog sessions built around the owner's goals, private puppy training sessions, walk-and-train sessions that build habits on walks, day training, and puppy bundles. Puppy work can start at 8 to 10 weeks with the right vaccinations, and the site stresses the socialization window that closes around 16 weeks.

Approach

Every plan starts with a consultation to assess the dog's temperament, challenges and the family's goals. The trainer describes his work as rooted in the science of positive reinforcement with a balanced, evidence-based approach, and says training should be as enjoyable for the dog as for the owner.

What to ask

Ask which parks are used, what each package includes, and how day training differs from private sessions. A free consultation can be booked from the site.
