Home-based board and train

Advanced K9 Training offers relationship-based board-and-train programs in Central Virginia. Dogs stay in the professional trainer's home rather than a kennel, and training is built into household routines, walks and public outings. Its primary service area starts with Orange and runs across Central and Northern Virginia.

Programs

The One-Week Board & Train is a reset for everyday manners: leash manners, place, impulse control, boundaries and jumping. The Two-Week program, its most popular, works on reliable obedience, loose-leash walking and heel, recall, place, socialization and off-leash training. The Three-Week program adds time for reactivity, resource guarding, fearful behavior and impulse-control problems. Dogs with a bite history need an evaluation first. Pricing is by phone.

What is included

Every program includes daily photo and video updates over WhatsApp, the training tools needed, an owner transition lesson and lifetime support. Puppy foundations can be built into a program.
