About Adventure Canine Academy
What they offer
Adventure Canine Academy was founded in 2024 by Kayla and Bradyn, who both had challenging dogs of their own and built the academy around calm, confident dogs that can enjoy real life: hiking, guests, walks around town and time with kids. Training is relationship-based and uses outdoor adventures to practice skills in changing environments.
Programs
Day Train runs four weeks. Dogs are dropped off for the day, get one-on-one work on the skills or behaviors the owner most wants to improve, go on an outdoor adventure, and the owner gets a walkthrough at pickup on how to continue at home. There is a behavioral track and an off-leash track, focused on calmness, neutrality around people, dogs and distractions, engagement and clear communication. The Puppy Program, for puppies under six months, runs twice a week for four weeks with basics and socialization with vaccinated dogs; a once-a-week puppy socialization option is offered too. Private lessons are available, and day care days are built around enrichment, structured play and small packs grouped by size and temperament.
About the trainers
The site says Kayla holds 14 certifications and degrees and was mentored under a veterinary behaviorist, and that Bradyn came to training from the veterinary field.
