About Aska’s Animals Foundation

Rescue and behavior support in Victor

Aska's Animals Foundation is an animal welfare nonprofit on a farm in Victor, in Teton Valley. Its mission is to provide a progressive environment for animals through rehabilitation, adoption, education and community outreach, filling the gap between shelter and permanent rescue. The foundation rescues puppies and their mothers before they enter the shelter system or removes them from shelters, raising them in its Puppy Palaces until adoption, and offers case-by-case sanctuary to pigs, goats, chickens and horses. It reports impacting over 900 animals this year, including 684 dogs and puppies.

Canine behavior programs

A core goal is keeping dogs in their homes. The foundation works with behavior issues while the dog is still in its familiar home, through free Behavior Support, Shelter & Rescue Assistance, Mostly Canine Behavior Workshops and training opportunities, plus a Canine Behavior Library. Its core values include humane care using evidence-based welfare standards and training. Sam Diaz is the Canine Behavior & Enrichment Manager, and founder Aska Langman sits on the board.
