Training, daycare, boarding and grooming
B-Hyve K9 is a dog training, daycare, boarding and grooming business at 3947 West Temple in Millcreek, serving Salt Lake County. It is owned and operated by Rob Barlow, who got into competitive K9 sports in 2006 through a Schutzhund club, where he learned tracking, obedience and protection training. He also served in the Utah National Guard and worked with military K9s on base while deployed to Iraq in 2010.
Training options
Clients can choose group classes, private one-on-one sessions or board and train programs. Group classes include obedience, AKC Canine Good Citizen, nose work and scent work, K9 fitness and personal protection. Private training is a program Rob designs around each owner's specific needs, covering obedience and other training. The facility also offers indoor, temperature-controlled daycare, kennel boarding and grooming such as baths and nail trims, and all breeds and sizes are welcome.
What owners say
One client wrote that Rob came to their house for 6 weeks to help with a red heeler the family was close to rehoming, "and now Jiffy is doing great."
