About BB’s PLAYHOUSE / BB’s BOUTIQUE

BB's Playhouse sits at 25-28 Broadway in Astoria and publishes itself as doggy daycare, boarding and training, with an indoor dog park, an events program and, since a recent opening, a boutique downstairs.

The training strand

Training appears in the site's own service line and has its own navigation entry, BBU. The owner's biography is where the substance is: thirteen years working with dogs across in-home doggy daycare, board and train, customized dog walks, rescue rehabilitation, private training and dog sitting. That is a board-and-train and private-training background rather than a group-class one, and it matches a facility that already has dogs staying overnight.

Daycare and boarding

The daycare runs Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm and 9am to 5pm at weekends. Boarding is priced per night with published early-drop and late-pickup increments, a VIP rate, and a stated latest drop-off time of 5pm. Add-on relief walks and twenty-minute walks are priced separately. Intake is handled through a customer portal where the rabies certificate and both agreements have to be uploaded before a first visit; dogs must be at least sixteen weeks old and spayed or neutered if over seven months.

What else is in the building

There is an indoor dog park, a party and events calendar, and a boutique carrying food, treats, clothing and accessories. Unusually, the same address also hosts a private barbell studio for humans – a separate business at the same suite, not a dog service.

Practicalities

A 20 percent holiday surcharge applies to all services, and in-house kibble is available for a small charge. The published contact is text or call, with the Instagram account used for day-to-day updates.
