About Beau’s K-9 Academy

What they offer

Beau's K-9 Academy describes itself as a multifaceted dog training business based in South Carolina's Lowcountry. Services include basic and on/off-leash board-and-train, private lessons, behavior modification, in-home training (including a three-week basic on-leash course covering sit, stay, come, down and heel plus door-barging and jumping), facility and in-home puppy programs, and trailing and open-air scent work for search and rescue.

Who runs it

The About page says Paul has worked as a PSA training decoy for over 5 years and as a bomb dog handler for a private security company, and holds a master dog trainer certification through Highland Canine. It lists trainer Steve, on the team since 2022, as a graduate of the same master trainer program.

Approach

The stated mission is to bridge the gap between how people and dogs perceive the world.
