About Better Together Animal Training LLC

Better Together Animal Training LLC is a behavior consulting practice whose site opens with an invitation to "Train with a credentialed and compassionate consultant that can make training fun for both you and your animal companion!" The consultant is named on the home page as "Cari Tetzlaff, CDBC, KPA-CTP", who "offers both online and in-person training and consulting solutions to help you and best friend enjoy life together".

What is offered

The site's own service menu lists dog behavior consulting first, followed by cat behavior consulting, a lane for shelters and rescues, classes and gift cards – so this is a practice that works across species rather than a dog-only trainer. The owner's statement sets out the scope of the consulting work: "My goal is to help improve the lives of dogs, cats and the people who love them by offering effective and ethical behavioral consulting services. You and your animal companion deserve a qualified professional on your team to help answer your behavioral questions, design a program to meet your needs and help you both learn the skills you need to enjoy life together."

Good to know

The site keeps separate pages for a bio, education and certifications, a training philosophy, testimonials and before-and-after videos, and sells through an online store. Ask about the class schedule, the training method in detail and prices, and what the CDBC and KPA-CTP credentials after the consultant's name cover. Contact is through the site and its social links.
