About Blue Sky Canine

What they offer

Blue Sky Canine is a Parker dog training team whose specialties are basic and advanced obedience, scent detection, puppy development and behavior modification for reactivity. Every client starts with an in-person consultation to set goals and pick a program, and the site says the consultation fee applies toward a package; free phone consultations are also available.

Programs

The day training program sits between board and train and private lessons: the trainer meets the owner and dog one-on-one about three times a week for roughly an hour per dog, teaching the owner along the way. The board and train program keeps the dog with the team for faster progress and suits owners who are traveling. E-collar and off-leash options are available for select dogs.

About the team

The site says all of its trainers went through formal schooling at The Michael Ellis School for Dog Training in Santa Rosa, California, and describes science-based methods that teach dogs yes and no with fairness and compassion. Client reviews on the site name trainers Austin, Ryan and Nevin.
