About Bon-Clyde Learning Center
Bon-Clyde Learning Center is in transition, and its own home page is the source for that, so this profile says so rather than advertising the older, larger operation.
What has changed
The founder writes: "Recently the Bon-Clyde building on 3030 Lee Avenue was sold. I kept the Business 'Bon Clyde Learning Center and Bon Clyde Canine Professional's.' My new plan is to travel with my show dogs and enjoy training in different locations. I am enjoying semi-retirement." The site announces that "Mini Bon is now open!" and directs readers to call or check the Facebook page for current class information.
What they publish
The site's own navigation covers classes, events, CGC and therapy-dog testing, and seminars and workshops, plus a canine-professional track. Founder Bonnie Buchanan states the original aim in her own words: "It has been a dream of mine to open and maintain a first-class facility for people and their dogs to come and experience all levels and types of dog sports."
The background
The Learning Center opened on 10 November 1990 and is named for Clyde, the founder's Rottweiler. Over 35 years it hosted specialty shows, agility trials and seminars, with classes across dog sports.
Worth knowing
Because the premises and schedule are changing, confirm the current location and class list by phone before traveling.
