Broward County Dog Training
Overview
About Broward County Dog Training
Obedience around distractions
Broward County Dog Training is a Coconut Creek-area trainer led by Orlando Cuevas, an obedience training specialist who aims to get dogs listening anywhere, even around other dogs, cats, food or tennis balls. Training starts with a free consultation, evaluation and temperament test, plus handling exercises for the owner, so a program can be built around the individual dog.
Programs
Private one-on-one lessons teach owners how to transform their dog's behavior. Board and train programs have the dog live with the trainer while working toward a high level of obedience. Puppy training addresses house training accidents, barking and nipping. Off-leash programs aim for reliability around dogs, cats and food, group classes are also offered, and the team describes itself as behavior modification specialists who draw on working dog experience to address aggression. Service extends across Broward County, from Coral Springs and Margate to Fort Lauderdale and Pembroke Pines.
What owners say
One couple wrote that their family was "stunned at how quickly Romeo learned basic obedience, especially at the young age of 5 months." Susan Burke, DVM, wrote that Orlando "was able to transform our unruly lab into a model citizen."
