Dynamite Dog Training runs an air-conditioned training facility in Deerfield Beach, one of several South Florida locations. Its trainers use only force-free, positive reinforcement methods: no chokers, no prong collars and no shock collars. The company says aversive tools are especially risky for dogs with behavior issues or aggression.

Programs

Day training works alongside an owner's schedule while they are at work or away. Private lessons are held at the facility with day, evening and weekend times. Group classes are matched to each dog's personality and skill level, and board and train covers dogs staying overnight. Virtual training and service and therapy dog training round out the menu, and the team takes dogs from problem puppy behaviors through service dog work.

The founder

The company was founded in 2006 by Jamie Diaz, who began by training clients privately. She is credited with over 15 years of training, a CPDT-KA certification and a license under Victoria Stilwell, and is also a certified K9 Nose Work instructor, CGC evaluator and Trick Dog Certified Trainer. Her focus includes aggression and reactivity toward people and dogs, and she trains at the Deerfield Beach location.
