About Bull Run K9

Bull Run K9 is the most transparent operation in this part of the metro about what you get and when you can get it. The business describes itself as built on "effective and mindful off-leash dog training", "Serving all areas within 45 minutes of Haymarket, VA", and lists a service area running from Aldie and Ashburn through Manassas, Reston and Warrenton.

Three programs, clearly separated

"The Puppy University" starts "when puppies are between 10 -14 weeks", runs four weeks and "includes four lessons taught over four weeks-both in your home and in a public setting", covering potty training, mouthing, jumping, basic leash work and socialization. The site flags plainly: "*This is not an off-leash program". "In-Home Lessons" is for "dogs 18 weeks and older" with "prior training experience" and runs six sessions – "three in-home sessions, one off-site session (such as at a park or store), and two "Anytime" lessons" – reaching "Off-Leash basics". "Obedience Camp" is "a comprehensive 12-day "Board and Train" program for dogs 18 weeks and older" covering "Complete obedience training", "Behavior modification" and "On and Off-Leash control", with "two follow-up in-home lessons and two future "Anytime" lessons".

Prices, and what is in the box

In-Home Lessons is "$1,500" and includes a "Remote Collar, Training Lead". Obedience Camp is "$2,600" and includes the same. The Puppy University is "FREE!*" "(*With purchase of Obedience Camp; $400 if purchased separately)". A multi-dog discount is offered on all three.

Availability is published

Unusually, the site lists remaining spots per start date and marks some weeks "FULLY BOOKED" – so you can see how far out the wait is before you call.

Who runs it

The site says the business is "Founded and led by Casey, our experienced and dedicated trainer", brings "over 15 years of professional dog training expertise", and that "In 2024, Casey launched Bull Run K9".
