About Canine Learning Centers

Classes

Canine Learning Centers is a training studio in Carlsbad that has served North County San Diego since 1992. Its class menu runs from puppy and adolescent foundations for dogs 12 to 24 weeks old, through obedience classes for dogs six months and up that aim for reliable listening on leash and off, to Freedom Unleashed, a class built around off-leash distance and focus.

Sports and certification

The studio also teaches nosework with no prior training needed, agility, an urban dog class for Canine Good Citizen graduates, and AKC Canine Good Citizen classes.

Private lessons

One-on-one private lessons are available with the founder and lead trainer, Laura Christiansen, for owners who are unsure whether a group class suits their dog or are working through a specific challenge.
