About Carlson Canine Camp

Freeport's all-under-one-roof camp

Carlson Canine Camp at 388 East Lamm Road in Freeport combines boarding, daycare, grooming, cat grooming and training on one site. The about page is headed "Trusted Since 2018" and describes a family-owned facility, saying they have "proudly served Freeport dog families for over 6 years" and are "proud to serve Freeport and the surrounding Northwest Illinois and Wisconsin communities." The site also advertises Adventure Days – off-leash outings for trained dogs across hundreds of acres.

Training programs and published prices

Group training runs as a six-week, once-a-week track. Puppy Preschool for 8 to 14 week olds and Beginner/Basic Obedience are both listed at $225, Intermediate Obedience at $200 and Advanced Obedience at $180; private one-on-one sessions are listed at $70 per session. The site publishes loyalty discounts of 10% off after one class and 20% off after two.
Requirements

Dogs must be at least eight months old unless enrolled in Puppy Preschool, must be spayed or neutered and current on vaccinations at the time of the class rather than at booking, and must be crate trained or capable of resting calmly in kennels. The site says a dog that struggles is cared for in a quiet boarding area with gentle one-on-one attention rather than pushed through the class, and describes clean, climate-controlled spaces with 24/7 vet access.
