About Charged-Up K9 LLC

Obedience, off-leash work and protection training

Charged-Up K9 LLC gives its service area on the home page as the "Southwest Chicago Suburbs," and says it is "committed to offering basic and advanced obedience, on and off leash training, personal protection work, private and group lessons, along with board and trains to clients in the Chicagoland area and across the U.S." The tagline it uses is an invitation to "unleash the potential" of your dog.

Programs listed on the services page

Three programs are set out in detail. Board and train is described as where owners "will get the most out of your money and see the fastest results," and covers "basic obedience, off leash training, behavior modification, and more." The personal protection program "trains your dog to be social with their family but when needed given a single command will protect their family," and is offered privately or in group sessions. One-on-one sessions are in-home: "We come to your home and will train your dog in basic obedience, behavior modification, or off leash training while you work alongside our trainer." Group sessions are offered as well. Each program says to contact the business for pricing.

The team the site describes

The about page presents the business as "a team of passionate handlers" rather than a single trainer, and says training should be "fun, engaging, and rewarding for both you and your dog." It lists Logan Terrell as "Founder and Owner," and credits him with expertise spanning "behavior rehabilitation, working with Police K9s, tracking, training service dogs, and both on- and off-leash obedience," adding that he "even taught himself German commands to communicate more effectively with his dogs." Matt Gutierrez is listed as the Illinois Branch Trainer, described as having joined the team after first meeting Logan as a client while seeking training for his own dog. The page also lists Nick Kazlauskas as marketing photographer and Ernesto Bernadet as manager and trainer for a Colorado branch, whose entry reads: "For the past ten years, I've been training and competing with dogs."
