About Confident Canine LLC

What you can book

Confident Canine publishes a short, fully priced menu. The core product is "Board & Train," offered in "2, 3, or 4 week programs" in which "Your dog will stay with the trainer and receive care and personalized training throughout their stay." Each board-and-train program "receives a one hour (+/-) go-home lesson and two follow up private lessons," and the listed prices are "2 weeks – $2200," "3 weeks – $3000" and "4 weeks – $3600," with "Equipment included!" and a note that spots are limited.

Day training and private lessons

"Day Training" is the middle option: "The trainer will pick up your dog from your home, train them for 1.5-2 hours, and drop them back off." Two schedules are published – "2 sessions per week for 3 weeks – $720" and "2 session per week for 4 weeks – $920" – each including "one Private Lesson at the end of the program," with additional days at $100 per session and individual sessions unlocked after the initial program. "Private Lessons" are sold at $120 for up to an hour, described as "One-on-one lessons specifically catered to your dog" and "beneficial to owners that want to remain hands-on during the training process with the guidance of a trainer"; the site adds that "Owners must be committed to doing more than one lesson." Lesson packages run from "2 sessions – $230" to "8 sessions – $920."

Testing and boarding

The site lists "AKC EVALUATIONS $20," naming the tests offered as "Canine Good Citizen: CGC, CGCA, CGCU," "Trick Dog: TKN, TKI, TKA" and "Virtual Home Manners." Boarding without training is listed at "$70 per day." The stated way in is a booking rather than an inquiry form: "Set up your free phone consultation."

What to ask

Ask who the trainer is, where it is based, and whether group classes, a puppy class or aggression work are offered.
