What they offer

This is the Burien training center of Dog's Day Out, a Seattle school with a second location in Ballard. Classes on its Burien schedule draw from the same menu: basic training, puppy and teen programs, the Reactive ReDo program, K9 Nosework and specialty classes, along with private lessons.

Approach

The school uses science-based, force-free positive reinforcement and does not use leash corrections, prong collars or shock collars. Owner Danette Johnston is a Certified Behavior Consultant – Canine (CBCC-KA).
