In-home and facility training for Park City

Dog Training Elite Park City offers in-home dog training in Park City along with facility-based day camps. The team is led by Colleen Tvorik, owner and trainer of DTE Northern Utah, who grew up with a family that bred Golden Retrievers and raised a service puppy that went on to graduate with Leader Dogs for the Blind. Trainers Dan Hutchings, Trevor Ruff and Melanie Harker round out the team. Training uses balanced techniques and incorporates positive reinforcement, starting with in-home sessions that involve the whole family before dogs move on to group classes.

Programs

Programs cover obedience, puppy training, service dog training, anxiety and aggression, therapy dog training and group classes. In-home packages come in Platinum (eight one-on-one sessions, unlimited group classes and lifetime support), Gold (five sessions and six months of group classes) and Silver (three sessions for a touch-up). The Elite Training Camp runs as day camp at the facility in 5-day or 10-day formats. Packages include an e-collar, and pricing is by phone.
