Backcountry Canine is a Park City dog training and adventure business run by local trainer Reed Campbell. It offers safe, humane e-collar training built on clear communication, so a dog understands expectations and the owner feels confident handling it in real life. Reed describes his education through Dog Training Elite's Service Dog Program and Pat Nolan, a lead trainer for multiple government agencies, along with years of hands-on experience that includes managing 20+ dogs on e-collars during structured hiking outings.

Services

Training options include e-collar training, owner-coached e-collar training and off-leash e-collar training aimed at unreliable recall, leash pulling and distractions. Training happens around real-world distractions so a dog listens beyond the home, and owners leave with a simple, repeatable plan. Alongside training, Backcountry Canine runs off-leash adventure hikes, adventure daycare and dog walking, with detailed report cards on energy, behavior and photos after each outing.
