About Dog Training Elite Twin Cities
Family-owned training in the Twin Cities
Dog Training Elite Twin Cities is a family-owned training company serving Minneapolis and St. Paul, led by owner and trainer George Rehbein, who works with Courtney Rehbein. George grew up in Minnesota and was a volunteer firefighter and EMT in Cottage Grove for five years before turning his passion for dogs into a career alongside his Rottweiler, Karma.
How they train
The company uses balanced training techniques and incorporates positive reinforcement into its programs. Training starts with in-home sessions that involve the whole family and address behaviors in the dog's own environment, then moves to group classes once basic commands are solid. Programs cover obedience, puppy training, anxiety and aggression, service dogs, therapy dogs, group classes and boot camps.
Published prices
Obedience packages come as in-home or in-facility training. Gold ($2,175) includes 5 one-on-one sessions and 10 group classes; Platinum ($3,275) aims for off-leash control with 8 one-on-one sessions, 16 group classes and elite testing. Both include an e-collar and place cot. A psychiatric service dog package is $5,475 with 12 one-on-one sessions, 30 group classes, public access testing and lifetime support.
What owners say
One client wrote that George "came to our home for the first stage of training to build a good foundation within a closed environment before jumping into group classes."
