Dog Training Transformation is run by Anna Brand, CDT, who trains from her home in Circle Pines and serves Anoka, Blaine, Coon Rapids, Forest Lake, Lino Lakes, Hugo, Shoreview, northern St. Paul and Minneapolis and nearby towns. She specializes in dogs with overexcitement, anxiety, fear, reactivity and bite histories.

Training style

Anna calls herself a balanced, relationship-based trainer with a strong emphasis on reward-based methods, using a toolbox approach to fit each dog. She graduated as a Professional Dog Trainer and Behaviorist from Starmark Academy in fall 2022, holds the IACP Certified Dog Trainer designation and Prong Collar Knowledge Assessment, and is a CGC evaluator with pet first aid and CPR certification.

Programs and prices

A free fifteen-minute phone consultation starts things off. Board and train runs three to five weeks in her home ($2700, $3600 or $4500). In-home private lessons come in packs of four, six or eight ($460, $690, $930; multi-dog $575, $810, $1160), with a $50 non-refundable deposit. Day Camp runs 4 to 8 weeks, three days a week ($1800 to $3500), and Training Exposure Outings are $115 each. Summer group classes are open to current and past clients.
