Operation Good Dog is run by Luke, a Certified Dog Trainer (CDT-C), who offers in-home training across Minneapolis and the northwest metro and runs boarding programs from his home at 8614 211th Ave NW in Nowthen, just north of Elk River. He describes a balanced, fair approach grounded in positive reinforcement, LIMA and the Humane Hierarchy, and specializes in marker training plus leash handling. Positive reinforcement teaches new skills; slip leads, prong collars and, in the 6-week program, e-collars are used "when appropriate."

Services and prices

In-home packages are $150 for a single session, $420 for three, $750 for six and $990 for nine, covering obedience, behavior modification, puppy training and fear and anxiety management. Each comes with a personalized digital training plan, handouts, homework and videos. Board and train runs 4 or 6 weeks with daily training and follow-up lessons, and Boarding & Bootcamp offers structured home-based boarding with short-term training; these range from $65 to $6,600. Luke takes up to 4 dogs for boarding and 2 for board and train, and works with fearful and aggressive dogs after an in-person consultation.
