About Embark Canine LLC

EmBark Canine is a Penfield in-home dog care business that has been running since 2021, and it is built around one restriction it states openly: care is in-home exclusively, with no kennels and no group facilities.

Why the restriction matters

The reasoning published on the site is that some dogs do their best at home, and that for dogs who struggle in busy environments, or who simply prefer their own space, keeping care in the home makes a measurable difference. That is also what makes the business relevant to a training directory: training is published as one of its four services and is delivered the same way, in the home, by handlers the dog already knows.

The four services, priced

Dog walking is $30 per thirty-minute walk, described as one-on-one with a walker the dog already knows. Full day drop-ins are $85 per day for four visits. Overnights are $105 per night and include four visits. Training is published as service 04, personalized, and delivered in the home alongside the rest.

How the staffing works

Each dog is matched with a primary walker plus two trusted backups for coverage, and photos and a written recap follow every visit. The business describes itself as bonded and insured, reactive-friendly and pet first-aid certified, with real-time updates. The stated model is the same person showing up for years until the dog treats it as routine rather than an event.

Scale

The site publishes 125 or more dogs cared for and a 5.0 rating across 22 Google reviews. New clients are offered a free first visit.
